Daniel Pink is a multiple-author including a number of NYT bestselling books.

His combination of thorough research on a topic and a style of writing that is engaging and entertaining makes his books a great read.

Books like "Drive" where he explains the concept Motivation 2.0 or "To Sell is Human" where he explains why almost all of us are in sales and why extroverts are not the best salespeople or "A Whole New Mind" which is our today"s VUCA world even more relevant are books I loved and love reading.

His latest book is "When" where he looks at the question of how timing - during a day, month, year or life, determines the probability of success of something.

A great conversation with many insights I am implementing on a regular basis.

Enjoy!

Why are we laughing and giggling together you wonder?

Bella and I are both Kite-surfing fans though she is doing that on a completely different level.

Bella became also world champion in sailing at the age of 38!

On the flip side, she knows how it is to get through depression and how to reinvent yourself over a period of 3 to 5 years.

There is so much in this episode.

Did you know that one key to high-performance is JOY? No wonder we are laughing together and have a lot of joy during the session.

But 65% of the 3000+ by Bella interviewed executives don't want to show up at work on Monday. And 70% don't know what to do about their career. These are shocking numbers - and there are more of these numbers.

But Bella also has specific tips and suggestions and shares the 4S (actually 5S) model in the episode.

PS: The side noise goes away after six minutes. Sorry about that.

You have heard about Bitcoin, you have heard about Blockchain.

And you probably have heard about Ethereum - one of the other major cryptocurrencies and development platforms.

One of the biggest challenges is the lack of qualified resources to develop and design solutions. Designing in the form of how to use a Blockchain application best, what are use cases?

That's why ConsenSys was founded. And Akshi Federici, the Executive Director, Strategic Projects and ConsenSys Academy Global Lead, is on the show.

A great conversation with lots of insights into Blockchain and Ethereum.

After several years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm and focusing on Financial Services clients, she spent time in-house in digital, financial services, media, retail, big data, and social impact. She has lived and worked in 7 countries and joined ConsenSys as the Executive Director of Special Projects and Global Lead for ConsenSys Academy, Education. In her role, she setup ConsenSys Academy - the educational core of the Ethereum movement, and ConsenSys' answer to the global blockchain talent shortage. Prior to ConsenSys, she has held leadership roles at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Conde Nast Publications, BlackRock Financial, the Clinton Foundation and has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, a Masters in Engineering Management from Dartmouth, and a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

So, we also face similar challenges - especially when it comes to the online world.

The conversation with Anthony is entertaining, frank and insightful.

Oliver calls himself an "agilist". Kindly, he introduced me to Jeff Sutherland who was a guest on this Podcast in the past and is the father of "Scrum".

And he runs a German software company - Matrix42.

Matrix42 is currently mainly focused on Europe, but also has clients in Australia and the US.

So, how is it to lead a German software company in a US-dominated marketplace?

As a musician at heart, Oliver brings an interesting mix of skills and experiences to the role.

What I like in particular are his suggestions and advice. Listen in for those.

He also suggests being lean, data-driven and agile.

An insightful conversation and look behind the curtain of a leader in the Digital Age.
